Willard W. Eng is a Senior Vice President with the Diversity Training Group (DTG). He has over 30 years of experience as a human resources executive and management/ organizational development consultant.
Prior to joining DTG, Willard was Vice President, Corporate Human Resources & Corporate Diversity for Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE), where he managed: Staffing/Workforce Planning, Succession Planning, Compensation and Benefits, Employee Relations, Corporate Management Training/ Organizational Development, AA/EEO and Corporate Diversity. The Corporate Diversity program he developed at SPE received the “HR Best Practice Award” from the Employers Group (formerly M&M). He has also served as Director of Human Resources for Deloitte & Touche and was Director of Career Counseling at the University of San Francisco.
As a consultant, Willard has coached senior executives and managers internationally and nationally in organizational and management leadership development, corporate reengineering, strategic planning, competency-based succession planning, change management, conflict resolution, and executive team building.
He has also designed and implemented strategic corporate diversity initiatives for a variety of corporations and organizations, to include: AOL/Time Warner, AT&T, Chevron Texaco, Conoco Phillips, DuPont, Eastman Kodak, General Electric, General Motors, Merrill Lynch, NBC/Universal, Procter & Gamble, Prudential, Sun Microsystems, Toyota, United Airlines, Verizon, Walt Disney and Whirlpool, American Zoological Association, Association of Bay Area Governments, Western Association of Colleges and Employers, University of California, Berkeley, Northwest Natural Gas.
Willard has completed Ed.D. Studies in Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco, earned an M.S. in Counseling/Educational Psychology from California State University, Hayward, and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley.
